Books, Articles & Online Resources
Current Journal Subscriptions
In addition to its printed book and e-book collections, the CCCTS Library has a collection of printed magazines and journals. In addition to this, we rely heavily on our subscription to American Theological Library Association (ATLA) Religion Database. The ATLA Religion Database includes more than 620,000 article citations from more than 1,746 journals (575 currently indexed), more than 250,000 essay citations from over 18,000 multi-author works, more than 570,000 book review citations, and a growing number of multimedia citations. In ATLASerials, full text is provided for more than 380,000 electronic articles and book reviews.
This database is produced by the American Theological Library Association. Access to this online database is much more efficient to the researcher than flipping through pages of printed magazines and journals, as the online version enables the researcher to look through tens of thousands of articles (most are peer-reviewed) at one moment—a much more comprehensive approach than the use of printed journals.
The subscription to this database is one of our greatest expenses, so access to the ATLA Religion Database is available only to CCCTS students, faculty and staff, who have signed an agreement that requires them to promise not to reveal the log-in credentials to anyone who is not affiliated with CCCTS.
Most of the print magazines and journals that we still subscribe to are those that are heavily illustrated, such as Biblical Archeology Review, Christian History, National Geographic, National Geographic History, and Smithsonian.

Goldberg 1996 Library Club
The Goldberg 1996 Library Club is a tangible way to support God's work at Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary. The Library will develop the 1996 Library Club to attract donors to give via the library website. Donors will be encouraged to give $19.96 to commemorate the year the institution was founded. Donating to this fund supports the operating budget of the library. Moreover, it helps the library update its technologies, add quality books and media, and fund workshops hosted by the library staff. Please contact the library for more information about donating to the Goldberg 1996 Library Club.
We look forward to growing and evolving to meet the needs of current and future leaders of the church.
