Adiaha Strange, Ed.D., became Vice President of Academic Affairs in September 2018 and has just finished her first year as VPAA. Dr. Strange holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a Master of Arts in Education Curriculum and Instruction and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Prior to be promoted to Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Strange had served on faculty since January 2011 and students, faculty, and staff love her. She has proven herself as an alley of the mission of CCCTS and she will work to strengthen the institution’s distance learning program, bring uniformity to the distance learning courses, and help lead the institution into our next phase. Although not the first African American to hold this position, she is the first female to be hires as VPAA in the school’s 23-year history. She has participated in numerous TRACS visits as a Team Evaluator helping to evaluate such institutions as Georgia Christian University, Clinton College, Paul Quinn College, Pensacola Christian College, and Lutheran Brethren Seminary. Since becoming VPAA, Dr. Strange has added two more TRACS visits to her resume. If you see her around campus, please take a moment to speak with her and tell her how proud you are to have her as our Vice President of Academic Affairs. We ask that you commit to praying for her success.
