Mt. Vernon Church in Hickory Grove, SC, is a small rural community in Hickory Grove, SC. We have a full-time pastor position open. Our Church recently disaffiliated from the UMC, and we are now operating as independent. We have re-established ourselves, reorganized, and restructured all while never closing our doors. Our Goal is to Make Christ Known Through our Words and Examples.

We have active children, youth, young adults, and older adults. We have programs in place for mission and outreach in our community and hope to do more. Our congregation consists of families that have been there for generations, people that have joined in the past 10 years, and people that have joined this year! Hickory Grove is a small community with a BIG heart. We are able to pay a full-time salary that is negotiable depending on experience. Duties would include Sunday services, special services, Bible study programs, visiting the sick and shut-ins, being involved with the children and youth programs, and possibly the Vernon Ventures (older Adults). We seek a pastor who will Walk With Us and Help Lead Us All to be Closer to Christ.
